Throw Me a Bone Here!
Wow! I didn't realize it had been so long since I'd last written. In order to catch up on the last few episodes of my soap-opera life, there are a few things you need to know. First, my ex and I are still in contact. We talked about our fight and are now able to have slightly normal conversations. Or at least as normal as they can be. Secondly, I started a new job. I am now an employee at what I'll call the "Center", a place for disabled kids. I act as a cross between a doctor, mother and baby-sitter. It's crazy and I haven't been there long enough to like it yet. . .
the fact that I am staying in my dorm room right now because I worked this morning and will be at work again bright and early on New Years' Day doesn't really help matters, either.
As for my guy situation, I've been listening to "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler over and over. My dad makes fun of it but the lyrics describe me pretty well: "Once upon a time I was falling in love; now I'm only falling apart. " Yeah, that would be my state of mind lately. I'm just so confused. . . "What can I say: a total eclipse of the heart".
